A repair figure quoted before the fault is known is a guess with a dollar sign on it. The one number fixed in advance is the $95 service call — the visit and the full diagnosis — and it comes off the repair once you approve it.

- Whether the part is current stock or has to be sourced against an older model
- How the cabinet is installed, and whether panelling has to come off to reach it
