Most houses out here run one full-height built-in in the kitchen and at least one more cabinet somewhere else: a drawer pair in the island, a wine column in the dining room, a second refrigerator in the mudroom or the garage. They are the same platform underneath, and they fail in the same handful of ways.
Knowing that platform is the entire advantage. A drifting upper zone, a drain that ices before it blocks, a condenser fan that has been quietly slowing for a year — these read differently to somebody who sees them weekly. Legacy 600 series cabinets are still in service in this town and still worth repairing, and the parts for them are still ordered against the plate rather than guessed at.
We are an independent repair business, not a manufacturer service arm. That means we will tell you when a cabinet is not worth the parts, which is not a conversation anybody selling appliances wants to have.

Done in the house where the cabinet lives. Panelled doors come off and go back on square, and the cabinetry is protected while the unit is out.

The bar machine in the butler pantry buzzed at harvest and released nothing. Cutter grid had a broken wire. He sourced the grid, returned when it landed, and cleaned the reservoir while it was apart.
